ITBP Driver Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who are seeking a job as a Constable (Driver) under the Indo-Tibetan Border Police may go through the listed points to check that they meet the certain eligibility to apply for this recruitment drive or not.
- The candidate must have passed the Class 10 exam from a school recognised by the State or Central government.
- The individual must hold a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
- It is mandatory that the individual must have turned at least 21 years as of November 6, 2024.
- The upper age limit for Unreserved, Other Backward Class, and Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste candidates is 27, 30 and 32 years, respectively.
- Additionally, the upper age relaxation is applicable upto 10 years for the Persons with Benchmark Disability.
ITBP Driver Pay Scale 2024
Candidates who will be appointed as Constable (Driver) under the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, after going through the selection process, will get a monthly salary range from 21,700 to 69,100 rupees under the 7th CPC with allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Home Rent Allowance, and others.

ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024
The selection process for recruitment of Constable (Driver) under the ITBP consists of multiple stages, which are Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standards Test, Written Exam, Document Verification, Practical (Skill) Test, and Medical Examinations. Candidates who will apply will be called for PET and PST, simultaneously, which will be followed by the Written Exam.
Candidates who will qualify the Written Exam will be eligible to participate in the Document Verification and Practical (Skill) Test, and then the final selection list will be published on the basis candidates’ performance in the overall stage of selection process. After being shortlisted on the merit list, aspirants will be called for a detailed medical examination and a review medical examination.
