Junior Research Fellowship Educational Qualifications
For JRF-01 (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication):
- B.Tech/B.E in relevant fields with First Class and a valid GATE score in EE/EC.
- OR, M.Tech/M.E in relevant fields with First Class along with a First Class B.Tech/B.E.
For JRF-02 (Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace):
- B.Tech/B.E in relevant fields with First Class and a valid GATE score in AE/ME.
- OR, M.Tech/M.E in relevant fields with First Class along with a First Class B.Tech/B.E.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years as of December 06, 2024. However, there is an age relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category and up to 3 years for those in the OBC category.
